2008 League Rules:
- Enter as many times as you would like, photocopy as needed.
- Cost is a $30 donation. All checks are to be payable to SAL Squadron 39. Entries can be submitted directly at the J. Claire Carmody Post 39 Legion (Poultney) or mailed to Clay Heald, 164 VT Route 30, Wells, VT 05774.
- Teams will consist of exactly 8 cars with a salary cap of no more than $8,000. Teams will be accumulating points by car number, not the driver. Some cars may be committed to more than one driver. You will gain the points of the car number you select, regardless of who drives the car.
- You will be allowed 3 FREE trades. Car values will not change during the course of the season. When making a car trade, your salary cannot exceed $8,000. The deadline for trades is midnight before each race.
- Points will be awarded according to the NASCAR® points system. You will accrue the points your cars gain for each race. Any changes in the points will affect our league, except for the final 10 race shootout adjustment. The winners will be based on the entries with the highest accumulative points at the seasons end. Any ties will be resolved by: 1) Wins 2) Top 5’s 3) Top 10’s 4) Points for last race.
Prize Schedule: 59 total prizes to be awarded!!
1st – $1,000.00 5th – $100.00
2nd – $500.00 6th through 10th – $50 each
3rd – $300.00 11th through 20th – $30 each
4th – $200.00
- $30 prize for the weekly top scorer for each points race.
- $30 Early Bird prize for entries received by Jan 31st.
- Random drawing for 2 tickets to the fall 2008 Loudon race. Each team receives one entry for the drawing.
*League Banquet will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at 3pm.
